So I read this book when I was very young, it was a light novel (maybe 100 pages) and I can only remember I loved it.
I know it was an Australian book, The cover was a picture of a sky with a airplane in it. I remember that the name of the book had something to do with "Blue" or "sky"
It was about a boy, with some kind of disability, and has a sick mum. His older brother says if he puts his fingers in a shape of a triangle and targets 100 planes like this he will get one wish (wish to save his mum). His mum needed a kidney transplant or something.
He lives in the country and goes to the city (i think it was Melbourne) in the hope of finding more planes.
