I was just reading an old Fu Manchu (Sax Rhomer) book from downstairs. I don't know what is so magnetic about them, but I'll probably re-read the twenty or so down there. I'd recommend them to anyone who likes sort of far out mystery/SciFi -- if you can find them anymore.

Thanks for your welcome! What do I read... mostly contemporary novels, I suppose, and more British authors than foreign. Also a lot of detective and crime novels, and occasionally classics. I love discovering new authors so I hope I get to do so here!
