Do you find Twitter and Facebook to be helpful to your sales? How about sales on Amazon compared with Smashwords?
Looking to hear about real life experiences from fellow writers.

I use Twitter, Absolute Write, promo cards, GoodReads and my publisher submitted publication notices to several newspapers and organizations they felt would be interested in A Dog of War. My book was released in Nov so I'll need to wait until the next quarterly statement to let you know how the publicity has been going.

Twitter has been my most successful marketing tool, but I'm a YA author so that's where my audience lives.
