Hello Kelvi,
I read some Irvine a long time ago. I didn't actually finish that series of books though.
Come to think of it I think I may have left the series at a cliffhanger, where the bad guy has the girl and the good guy has one shot at killing/saving ( or was it the baddie had the guy and the girl had one shot?can't quite remember) - perhaps you could tell me how it all panned out?
From what I remember, I found Irvine to be an okayish writer, whilst some of his ideas/characters were fascinating, overall his style was a bit plodding.
