So I'm looking for a story that I heard read aloud on NPR. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of the title or author and hope someone has heard it before and can help me find it based on a short description. I'd love to read the story for myself.
I think it's a short story. It was about this man who awoke one day to find a woman in his closet or wardrobe (or something similar.) I think she was naked, but the two had a conversation before the man left. Through the story, this happened several times, with the man finding the woman in the wardrobe naked. I was under the impression the story was written by a famous writer. It's been quite some time since I heard this story and I've been unable to track it down on my own. Hopefully, I'm remembering everything correctly.
