The breeze in flight, the stars at night, toils in plight,
I said to her " Darling, won't you reconsider? "
" No " she said, praying I did, no I don't want to leave her.
" Fine " I said, walking amid, the fog rains down an ocean somber.
Her scarf I kept, covers my head, the scent reminds me one night
of passion.
Storms cleared that day, but the raven stayed, Lenore deserved
so much better.
Sober today, suffice it to say, fleeting am I with a renewed endeavor.
Finish the story, a twisting allegory, a tribute to Poe and his fore bearer.
