Lifes Haiku

here is a few I wrote today


I became a man
it was something new to me
I felt really big

I would be happy
if only I could take flight
flying up on high

it was my birthday
I was really waiting for
the party to start

all my thoughts were clear
I wasn't taken away
my face was a smile

it scared me to death
no grip on reality
why, I was insane

without training wheels
I eventually rode
without falling off

Hi Stig. Good to see you back, haven't seen you around for a while. Really like your haiku - love the way the whole thing fits together as a story or each one can be read separately on it's own. Think this is the best thing you've done so far (in my humble opinion)

rent is overdue
landlord says I got to go
so I must move out

stay between the lines
you must follow the right path
that leads you through life

I'm a winner but
I cant do anything right
according to Him

life is beautiful
take it as it comes to you
get a feel for it

I'll take on life with
a sink or swim attitude
I'll never give up
