Margaret Peterson Haddix

I just found out about this author after getting a copy of a book by her at a recent conference. She seems to be geared fo the young adult crowd and the books do look quite interesting for that demographic in my estimation.

Any recommendations to start out with for readers say, 13-16?

I've only read a few of her books, but I did enjoy hearing the first in the Shadow Children series. Among the Hidden, I think it was called. It's about a boy, Luke, who is a 3rd child and so he has to remain hidden because the gov't says only 2 kids are allowed per family.
