key on the keyboard is Backspace, followed closely by Delete.
My fingers don't hit the right keys, or don't press hard enough, so if it weren't for the ability to erase mistakes, my posts and emails would be incomprehensible, with the occasional embarrassing mistake thrown in (such as missing the F in the word "shift"). I think it would be fun to post something you've typed without cleaning it up-that is, unless you're a perfect typist in which case it wouldn't be funny.
