I need a little help on finding a book. It's a mystery/thriller. It starts off with a woman coming back to her home town with her daughter after leaving town and eloping with a rodeo cowboy who then leaves her in the city with their young daughter. She returns home on the night of her step grandfather birthday party. When he sees her he has a heartattack and is rushed to the hospital. Then we meet the leading man who is the head of the family with a daughter from a first marriage and is about to get married again. In between all of this is a man who been going around taking little girls from their homes and playing with them until he grows tired of them, kills them and turn them into dolls.
I'm not sure of who the author of this book is can anyone tell me who wrote it and the title?
