I have read this book many years ago, and now do not remeber either it's title nor the author. The simplified plot, however, is as follows:
There's a village at the mountain, and there has been a tradition there, that certain children become "chosen", and from their childhood they are prepeared to climb that mountain (when they will become mature enough to do so), holding many dangers and temptations, and which seems to reach heaven itself...
If you read this book, IMHO you will surely remember this story, by that little info that I've provided above. If anyone knows author/title of this book, please let me know! Thank you!
