When you reply to a post, or indeed create a new post, there is a 'spoiler' button above the input box, along with the url and image options and such.

Simply click on it and input the spoiler text. (I haven't tested it to see how long it allows your input to be yet - anyone?)

I'm sure you will agree it is a fabulous addition to the forum, and if used correctly will greatly reduce the risk of accidentally spotting an important part of a book you haven't yet read.

The spoiler "tag" has been around for a while, but not many people use it. It's something which I added to the forum software so maybe people aren't used to it.

I don't think there's a length limit. I've never tried it.
