novels about generation ships

Anyone know any good novels about generation ships?

I'm not exactly sure if this is what you mean, but the Rama series by Arthur C. Clarke might be what you are looking for a sci-fi kinda that spans more than one generation. The books may not seem to span more than a generation through the first one, but as the series progresses you'll see what I mean.
