Possession?

Possession by A.S. Byatt is one of my favorite books, but the recent movie adaptation starring Gwyneth Paltrow never came to my area. Has anyone who read the book seen it, and if so, how did it compare?

Possession is also one of my all time fave books. I've heard there are two types of Possession fans - those who read all the poetry and those who skipped over. I must admit I tried to read the poetry and failed.....

I saw the film adaptation with Gwyneth Paltrow. It was not as good as the book, especially the ending. But the set design and lighting was very good.
