She is at a park and sees a child who gets injured. While helping calm the child she meets the father. They go to the hospital together and a friendship begins. He is a pilot and she works for a group who coordinates donated organs being picked up and delivered across the states. She doesnt tell him she too needs is on the waiting list to recieve a heart transplant. They fall in love and he winds up volunteering his services as a pilot. Soon her health declines and she cant keep it from him.
