Quill & Candle is a collection of seventeen ghost stories that all take place in Colonial and post-Colonial New England. Scott Thomas does a great job of setting the atmosphere for his stories.
I'm not a big fan of ghost stories but by and large, Quill & Candle kept my attention. My only real compliant was that I was hoping for a story that paid homage in some way to Lovecraft's New England, but I suppose that was too high of an expectation. That being said, I do recommend it for some Autumn or Halloween reading.
