Searches never work well

I would have liked to entitle this thread "What's wrong with this site" but, of course I do not want to be so negative, so here it is:

Searching for an author or a book brings an entire set of entire threads, rather than individual posts. That means that to find the relevant post, one must searh through endless detritus to find the thing one is searching for.

Can you please address this? It is absolutely critical to a decent site about books.

There is a radio button option to show results as posts instead of threads.

Is that what you were looking for or did I misinterpret your question?

Also consider clicking on "advanced search" to find options to further narrow your search.
