I remember reading a book as a child in the 1960's which was set in Africa and featured a creature (possibly called Walpegi bear) whose prey was elephants! I always thought this was written by Captain W E Johns but it was not a Biggles book. Any ideas as to the title or correct author? Many thanks, Jacqui
