Watch out for the fourth volume in Colin Wilson's Spider World. Now in his seventies, he is a writer not appreciated enough in the UK. His non ficion is rated highly in Arabic countries.
 
Would that be the same Colin Wilson that wears those funny clothes and has something to say about every topic imaginable? I've seen him in some documentaries, but watching him talk rather turned me off. Is he really worth reading then?

Fantasy fiction

No; Spider World is fantasy fiction. I would recommend it. Roald Dahl challenged Colin Wilson to write a 'children's book' . Like His Dark Materials or Lord of the Rings it is for adults too.
 
I didn't read that right apparently. :eek:

I looked into it, and I'm afraid my library doesn't have it... At least not in English. I'll see if I can find it in translation... I'm always looking to see how bets turn out. ;)
