What do you think of Steve Albini as a guitarist?
He was a member of Big Black, Rapeman and is currently a member of Shellac.

Not very familiar with him as a guitarist, but I really like him as a producer. There's not many people who can make a band sound as physical as he does, and yet all he really does is turn up the volume and let the tape run.

Yes you are right beer good, he is a great producer but also an amazing guitarist !!

Beer good, Do you know any digital audio workstation (DAW) ?
Most of audio engineers or electronic musicians works with Pro Tools 7 manufactured by Digidesign.

- I used to work with Sybelius ( the crown for the conservatory students ) for notation software, and recording of audio scores, but nowadays, Sibelius joins Digidesign.
