I would prefer some function in the profil, so that the other members know I'm female. Asking members all the time if they are a boy or a girl gets pretty dull after a while.
Something like this would be very nice!

Done. You can edit this via "edit profile" in your user control panel.

There's also a blank option if people don't want to say.
