November's theme is young adult.

Start suggesting titles (one suggestion per member only, please).

Since we don't have much time till November starts, I'd like to set the poll next week, so please post your suggestions till Sunday.

Heh heh heh...I'm going to list my short list and then suggest only one, but if someone ELSE wanted to research the others and choose one, well now, that would be fun! ;)

My short list was based on the YRCA choices for 2012 and 2013.

2012 winners:
Shiver - Maggie Stiefvater
Maze Runner - James Dashner

These both sound interesting, and I'll likely read them anyway, but my choice has to be:

The Cardturner - Louis Sachar

I love Louis Sachar, he's so good at layering his stories. You can enjoy them at whatever level you choose.

Edit: SWEET!!! I posted just as Landslide was posting, so please consider these three as my picks.

My two other suggestions:
The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by C. Alan Bradley
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

I Had Seen Castles by Cynthia Rylant.

Summary: Now an old man, John is haunted by memories of enlisting to fight in the Second World War, a decision which forced him to face the horrors of war and changed his life forever.
This is a short novel so it should be a fairly quick read.
