I wish to ask You all if You can help me to find out titles of books that deal with dragons turning into humans and the reverse case? It can also be gods and godesses that take both human and dragon shape.

So far I heard about:
-Fafnir in the Edda
-Isis in egyptic myth
-A Japanese godess
-The Jade Emperor in Taoistic myth
-In Robin Hobbs Assassins books
-In Ursula K le Guins Eathsea books
-Eustace in C.S. Lewis Narnia books
-In Laurence Yep Dragonwings
-In Katherine Kerr books

It happens a few times in the books by R.E. Feist as well, though it's pretty much a detail there. Do you want the book titles as well ?

The four Dragon Kings - Chinese mythology
Quetzalcoatl - Toltec and Aztec Mythology
Kukulkan - Myan

Princess Margaret in The Laidley Worm of Spindlestone Heugh
Ypocras Daughter in The Travels of Sir John Mandeville, chapter 4
Nie Lang - Szechuan legend 'Nie Lang and the White Hare'
Sir James Ecert in The Dragon Knight by Gordon R. Dickson
Lei-Zhenzi - Chinese myth

R A MacEvoy wrote a story called Tea With the Black Dragon. Chinese mythology, Irish folk music and computer programming. An interesting blend.

Dragon Transformation

How strange ... I started writing one of those just recently. The first 8 chapters are available on Magic Spells look for Elory's Joy and/or the big golden coin with the dragon image on it.

The first full transformation occurs in Chapter 5, rebirth.
