I can't believe I haven't seen Walter Moseley here. Am I just looking in the wrong places? He's so cool! The protagonists are SO likable despite often desperate circumstances, well I guess BECAUSE of them, huh? But the rich locale descriptions have Dickens so beat, the neighborhoods are just spot on, and they're peopled with characters that are utterly believable and real. When I read these I'm LOST. Anyone else?
