Ok, so once upon a time, in a different city I picked up a book from the "new arrivals" section of the library. It was the story of a female author who was diagnosed w/ cancer and in the process of her recovery gets a job at her favourite bookstore. The author had written like 4 other books, and was Polish American, and I think it was set in New England. Anyone?
