I finally finished 2666 by Roberto Bolano in December. It was interesting the first time through, even if seeming rather longish. Now I'm intending a re-read in connection with a discussion group, to decipher it and connect the rather spare cross-references, perhaps to be able to view it finally as an integrated whole. I have the feeling it will be worth the effort. But, despite the hype, I find that so far there are other books I would rather rave about (and I have, elsewhere here on BAR).:star4:
