I read a book a long time ago. It is about the President of the USA. There has been a plot hatched to kill him and introduce an imposter into the White House. The real President wakes up in a hospital or some such place and remembers the past. He goes to the White House only to realise that the imposter has taken hold completely to the extent that even the First Lady is deceived. The rest of the book is how he goes about restoring his identity as the real President of the USA and exposing the imposter.
Can anyone remember this book? If so, what is the title and who is the author?
