Can anyone please tell me the title of the book containing the following poem at the beginning:
"If you long for your dreams and your dreams cannot wait, turn your life into dreams and control your own fate. And live in your own dream making. In a world of choice that is truly your own, where all the decisions are yours alone. Even in the time of dream waking. but the Dogs come uncaring into your play, into your dreams and they take you away. for no good reason, they do it for pay. Kill them dream-maker they stand in your way."
The book follows a man who works as a 'dog'. In a world where computer programs have been created where people can create their own world and live in it. 'Dogs' are the people who can be hired to pull a person out of the program.
If you can help I will be greatful, this is driving me mad!
