Literally. I have gone to order a few books from Amazon, nothing special even, and I just couldn't buy the ebook variants for my Kindle, but had to buy hard copies.
Thoughts running through my head included:
1) What if I really like it, and want to lend it to someone.
2) There won't be a copy available on a shelf should a family member want to borrow it in 20-30 years time.
3) I won't be able to read it in the bath.
4) If it's part of a series, especially a first, it won't sit and look nice on my shelf in a run/series.
5) I really prefer holding paper for some of my reading material...
This is a problem. I got the Kindle to reduce my physical shelf space, and at present, with above logic, that just isn't happening...
