Hi Everyone,
I have just finished reading the Riftwar saga. I have to say that it was one of the best series that I have read. It has been a while since I have read LotR and I think it compares.
Unfortunately I have to say there wan't enough Pug in it, or more to the point Pugs power. It focused alot on his rise to awesomeness rather than him pracitcing it so much. I do though have to say Aruthra proved to be awesome whenever in focus! The adventrues he went through (Crydee & Armengar sieges along with the boat trip with Trask as some examples) were very entertaining!
I have some questions regarding the rest of the Cycle though.
1. Does Pug have any more main character books, particularly using his new-found power?
2. What would you recommend as the next series to read?
3. Are there any you wouldn't read.
4. What other series are similar to this one by other authors?
Cheers!
