Ahhh. Barbara m'love. How's the Australian Vamp doing.

Finally got organized (again) and decided to search out some old (no, scratch, "old") familiar faces.

I'm on the U.S. east coast staying with my sister in,"temporary housing" as a result of a house fire which caused enough smoke damage to send her into such mean quarters. If one can call a 21st floor, 2 bdr, 2 bath flat, mean.

I've downloaded a raft of Audio.com books for our (wife and I) drive next month from our home in Calif. to Chicago Illinois (birthplace and home to surviving members of my extended family) into Toronto, Canada to visit several Canadian friends, then down to Lexington,, Kentucky for a week's worth of biking.

I have not had much computer time lately. This is my first visit to Ice in Days!

I just realized that saying "Honk Honk" with this schnozzola comes across much differently than signing as Big Goose. :whistling:

Thanks for letting me know what to expect with Wilbur's second book in his Egypt series. I doubt that I'll read it. I'm enjoying Reginald Hill and will be picking up the 3rd book in the Dalziel/Pascoe series on Tuesday and the 2nd in, Susan Hill's, Simon Serrallier series the same day. I'm loving both of these authors. The other day, when you were talking about posting a picture of you and Harry, I forgot that Harry is your parrot, he's very beautiful by the way, and thought it was going to be a photo of you and your partner. I had to laugh when I saw Harry!

It occurs to me that I've never heard a parrot with an Aussie accent before. Too bad we don't have audio!
