I'm watching the George Zimmerman trial and just can't help but feel like the whole thing is just a kangaroo trial. Anywho, I can't wait for the inevitable book based on this case, but for now I'd like to know your opinions on other similar books.

I bought Divergent yesterday expecting something of similar quality to The Hunger Games since the Amazon reviews often compare them... but whereas THG hooked me from the first chapter, I'm still having trouble getting into Divergent even though I'm at like the 10th chapter now, around...
I watched the first, and final two Twilight films... the first at a movie theater with someone who asked me to come, and the other on TV a couple of weeks ago since there was nothing else to watch...

Honestly, I prefer buying books. Then I could always sell them on ebay if end up not liking them or don't plan to read them again...
Anyway, today at Walmart I bought the smaller paperback edition of The Hobbit, and The Passage by Justin Cronin.
The Passage by Cronin seems like it would last...
Fantasy about mythology seems more to my liking, and so does fantasy that takes place in our world... maybe...
I'd be up for anything though as long as the story is good and allows me to connect with the characters, almost on a personal level like The Hunger Games did..
