      Hi Jane. My library has several books by Goddard but not LONG TIME COMING. Sounds interesting and I'll have to look for it.

      I've not read either Goddard nor French. I've seen them both mentioned when I've glanced in at the Café. Will have to see what my library has to offer.

      I'm usually still up around midnight (reading) and taking a last look on the internet. I recently finished Patricia Cornwall's JACK THE RIPPER, CASE CLOSED. She makes some good arguments and may well be right, but her approach seemed pushy and forced, and, therefore, somewhat dubious.

      Right now I'm in the middle of THE FORGOTTEN GARDEN so as to take part in the group read starting now. Some, I see already, have found it a drudge. Hasn't had that affect on me. I've liked it since the first page although it's a far cry from the what I've been reading recently.
