    First book

If it wasn't a VC Andrews that I just "picked up" out of nowhere, then it was Roxanna Slade by Reynolds Price...both painted places in my mind and I knew I wanted more afterwards.

What was the very last series you read?

VC Andrews....one of her series. Over 8 years ago. I began Jan Karon's Mitford series 6 years ago, but haven't got to the 2nd book yet. Bad Jennifer, bad!

    Young Adult books...

I may have asked this question before, but are VC Andrews series's considered YA?

    Young Adult books...

Just how young should one be to enjoy this series? Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1) by Stephenie Meyer It looked interesting, but then I saw the YA on it, and well...I'm not exactly a young adult. Can I still enjoy it?

    Books that made you...

    1) One Book that made you read it More Than Once: Still a rookie book reader, but the 1 that I've actually tried re-reading because I really enjoyed the story was Roxanna Slade by Reynolds Price. 2) One book you would want on a desert island: My box set of Harry Potter because it would take...

    How Long Between Books?

I feel guilty for reading too much (I have a 5 year old that I guess I should be spending that time with) so when I do happen to finish a book I've started, I usually wait a little while - weeks - before I jump into another one. Not to mention it takes me months to read one book (same reason as...

    Apocalypto

Everyday. I mean, who me? Never. The movie was great I thought. I'll watch again. Not what I had imagined it would be about, but still a good flick.

    Books you didn't finish

The Red Tent: Anita Diamant It wasn't the right time for me to begin this book. Someday. Then I tried The Liars' Club: Mary Karr and again, just not in the mood for it. Will try to open The Kite Runner tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Yann Martel: Life of Pi

Everytime I go to the zoo, I chuckle at the Meerkats. I love'm. The book was fantastic, I read it late last year and enjoyed it. The unfortunate part is that it was a borrowed book, so no trophy on the shelf for this read.

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

The Tender Bar by JR Meohringer, The Kite Runner and Carpe Demon (demon hunting soccer mom). And The Liars Club by Mary Karr. And...lol.

Alice Sebold: The Lovely Bones *spoilers*

I think it depends on the age of the reader. I'm 31 and have a toddler....I was able to relate the the feelings of the parents, the father mainly and the mother of the "boyfriend". I never felt like I was reading YA.

    how long

I long for one of those days... I am on my second book this year. I'm a slow reader. However I finished book number 1 in record time, I think less than 10 days and I was done. So what if it was only 220 pages. :)
