    Best Submission Management Software?

I just started using Sonar for managing my article and story submissions. It's not bad (and it's free), but it was my 3rd choice. My first choice wouldn't load on my computer and my 2nd choice had been removed from the market for the time being. Does anyone else use a submission managment...

    Self-Publishing Advice

When I self-publish books, I use Morris Publishing. I have found them very competitive and offer a variety of services. You can also see all their pricing, even the base pricing, on their web site. I've published 6 books with them now and am still pleased with the product. Morris is a...

    Non- Fiction Writers

I self-published a collection of articles and columns I had written. I had already self-published some fiction so that book built onto what I had learned. Neither was an easy process because you are in charge of all aspects. By the same token, you can make more per copy. Self-publishing quickly...

Erik Larson: In the Garden of Beasts

I finished this book not too long ago. It had some interesting insights with an American in Germany as Hitler comes to power. However, I wasn't so enthralled with Martha as the viewpoint character. She seemed to self-involved for my taste. I did find the State Department insights interesting, too.

    Micheal Connelly

While I enjoy Connelly's Bosch novels, my favorite book of his is still the first one of his that I read: Blood Work. Don't see the movie, though. It sucked!

    David Baldacci

I like reading Baldacci's thrillers. They are always a fun, exciting read, especially the Camel Club books.

    Harlan Coben

I was hooked with the first Harlan Coben book I read. Tell No One kept me guessing to the last page. Then I worked my way into the Myron Bolitar books and loved them for their humor. He quickly became my favorite mystery writer.

    Robert Crais

I enjoy the Elvis Cole books. Not only do they have good action, I like the humor in them. However, as much as I like Joe Pike, he reminds me a lot of Hawk in the Spenser novels. Has anyone heard when the next Elvis Cole book will be released? I keep checking Crais's web site and haven't...

    Brad Thor

Best Brad Thor book to start with? I'm thinking about reading one of Brad Thor's books. Which one would you recommend that I start with?

    Dean Koontz

My favorite Dean Koontz books are the Odd Thomas books (for a series) and The Bad Place, Whispers and Watchers (as stand-alone books).

    Recently Finished

I just finished reading "The Door to December" by Dean Koontz. It's an older book of his that I would rate average.
