    I've read The Handmaid's Tale and tried A Brave New World, but didn't like it, Handmaid was good. I'll check out Life of Pi Malfist P.S. Sorry, I get 1984 and 1948 mixed up.

    I know exactly the books you are talking about, Authors name starts with a letter at the end of the alphabet, the series (or atleast on of the books) is called Black Caldron, not all the animals can talk right? Mainly the wolves?
