Looking for new detective book series
thanks for the reply. I red some of the Lew Archer novels a few years ago, might be time to go thru them again. I will check out Elmore Leonard, too. matt- Mattb

Looking for new detective book series
I have been reading mysteries for 40 years and have worn out my Nero Wolfe's, Raymond Chandlers, Hammet's, Lawrence Sanders and Lawrence Block (burgular series). I would really like to find something similiar to Chandler and set in the 40's. Anybody have any suggestions for a series that is...- Mattb
