    I think that "Beloved Empress - Mumtaz Mahal" would fit as an biographical romance. I feel that the story of Muntaz Mahal and Shah Jahan is one of the most beautiful love stories in all of history.

    The book I plan to write one day is - After Ragnarok: The New Norse Mythology. I plan to center the story on Magni and Modi, the two sons of Thor who survive Ragnarok. The book will be a collection of short stories.

    one or more books at a time

    I generally have two books going at a time. One is usually am easier to read book than the other so that if I am unwell or tired I can have an easy read. During the last couple of months my easy read books have been books in the Cat Who series by Lillian Jackson Braun.

    Brick & mortar bookstores- R.I.P. & good riddance

    I think there is only one bookstore in my city where you can have a cup of coffee etc. Unfortunately the coffee house area is up a flight of stairs and because I have trouble using stairs ( I have arthritis) I can't really get there.

    It is usually cheaper for me to get a book from Amazon and pay for International Shipping ($12.49) than it is for me to buy the book in an Australian book store. About the only books I buy in Australia are from second-hand book stores or seonc hand books from Australian eBay or similar...

    I buy the New Scientist whenever I can afford it and have done so for many years. I think it is the best science magazine around.

    Which book set you off on a life of crime (reading)?

    I am not sure what book lead me into reading crime novels but in probably a novel by Agatha Christie. My mother was an avid reading of many genres including crime fiction and I started reading many of Mum's books when I was a teenager (more than 30 years ago).

    I have read the all the Hitch-hiker books more than once. In facxt I have read all of Douglas Adams books except for Salmon of Doubt. That books sits on my bookshelf and I cannot bring mmyself to read it because after that there is no more left to read. I which Adams had been more prolific.

    I haven't read Dune but I do know a woman who named her son Leto after a character from Dune. Someone who has read the book can tell me if the character was worthy of having a child named after him.
