    Yes great book. Felt like he was talking for me at times when describing the inner processes.

    John Steinbeck: East Of Eden

    I found myself nodding in agreement as I read this book. Reading Steinbeck is like having a nice gentle walk in the park with a good trusted friend!!

    Sue Monk Kidd: The Secret Life Of Bees

    Yes one of my all time favs' also. Especially liked the part where the girl and one of the sisters sit on the bench together near the end of the book and the truth is told about the girls mothers leaving in such a gentle manor (sorry got a mind like a siff and can't remember names)

    Well I find stienbeck has fun when describing his charactors. I often sit reading with a silly smile of my face.
