What was/is your favorite children's book?

    The Sneetches by Dr Seuss.

Worst book/s you have ever read?

Congo by Michael Crichton; a terrible waste of paper.

What book (or series) would you most like to see made into a movie?

The Religion by Tim Willocks. It is about the Great Siege of Malta and the battle scenes would be epic. It also has a hideous villain and a swashbuckling hero. The only problem is the movie would need to be about 7 hours long.

    George Eliot

I read Silas Marner and really enjoyed it - I would read it again. The next George Eliot novel I read was Adam Bede which I thought was really good too. Next I went with The Mill on the Floss, which bored me and I didn't finish it.

    Alan Moore: Watchmen *spoilers*

Saw the movie recently and I will certainly buy the book, I really enjoyed it.

    George W. Bush: Decision Points

As many as 5 words? Are they "I like your sweater Tony!"?

    David Icke: The Biggest Secret

Where did you download it? I would love to have a look. David Ike was a goalkeeper then a sports reporter in UK. Suddenly he was a religious figure - he called himself the Godhead - and would only wear one colour, purple I think. A bit of a nutter but strangely fascinating.

Robert Louis Stevenson: The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

I am another reader who found this book a little disappointing. It was okay but not what I was expecting and I was definintely surprised when I saw how short it was.

Any books on Race and Business/Economics?

I think this one is ideal. The Sneetches by Dr Seuss. Deals with race (through the allegory of some Sneetches having stars on their bellies and some not) and economics (a businessman takes the Sneetches for all their money in their quest for social superiority).
