I agree with both points here. While there was some sense of parody in Stardust, it didn't quite match TPB's sense of irony. I'm probably biased toward TPB for nostalgia's sake, but I do find it to be very rewatchable. I doubt I'll see Stardust again for a long time.

Not sure how unconventional it is, but I was given a Lonely Planet photo book a couple of years ago that juxtaposed images from around the world on opposing pages i.e children at play in the Middle East, children at play in South America.

Standouts, in my opinion, are: It The Shining The Stand I also really enjoyed Bag of Bones, but I haven't read much of his 'newer' stuff since I gave up on Insomnia.

I'd take it back. I hate underlining even in textbooks; it makes me think I should be really focusing on that portion of the text and that it has something really valid within, when in reality a seven year old could have underlined it.
