I'm 50/50 about this. I like reading novels as hard copies, but like reading short stories and general thinks like cook books as an eBook. I still love the feel and smell of the physical book, and the accomplishment of closing the last page and reflecting on what I have just read.

Is anyone from Australia and have seen the movie preview of the adaption of The Sound of Music? Any thoughts on that? I must say I think it looks like a funny Aussie movie.

I do like the Marvel comics for children/teens. I do like Iron Man and Captain America as movies. I think they did a great job with those two. I have not yet watched Thor, I have very good reviews about it.

Kumar I suggest watching Alice, it is a great movie, Jonny Depp plays it perfectly. How about Snow White? What do you think of the new movie? I must admit I liked the movie, it was very dark. I think it shows another side of Snow White. What do you think? Can you think of any others?

Watchma was a great movie. Very enjoyable and action packed. How about other comics like Batman and Superman? I feel that they were brillant comics and also brillant movies. I enjoyed both the old movies and the new movies.

How about old time classics turned into a modern movie? The example that I can think of is Alice in Wonderland, that was turned and twisted into a modern movie. Do you think it's in the same category that we are currently talking about? Or is it a entirely different subject all together?

That's exactly right. People complain that children play too many video games and that they just watch TV, now they are complaining that they read too much? I think it's a bit ridiculous. I agree everything in moderation.

Thanks for the advice, I'll take a look at the kindle. I know it's better to get a reader now days for ease and environmental, but it is so hard to part with a real book, as you said the smell and feel. I just feel like when I finish the eBook that I wont have that same satisfaction of...

I agree with you about the HP books, each time you went to the next it was bigger. Some bits in the HP books did drag on then they needed to. Master and Commander sounds familiar, and there are 20 books? Wow, do they get bigger and bigger like the HP books? If I may ask how long does it...
