    Just finished Josie Dew's Saddled at Sea. I have read several of her books and being a keen cyclist, was looking forward to some cycling tales. disappointingly, this was all about ships and the sea...You'd think the title would have given me a clue :-)

    Library closures.

    What are the readers views on the proposed closing of 1,000 libraries? Who's sorry they voted for them now? The elderly will suffer the most. And those that can't afford to buy books.

    Laugh Out Loud Funny

    I would go for The Colour of Magic, then, The Light Fantastic and then Mort. These are all Disc World books, other comedy fantasy I have read by him are Truckers and Diggers. I find them all hilarious and inventive. I'm sure you will enjoy reading him.

    Just bought from amazon.com. An Edgar Wallace novel, The Mind of J.G. Reeder. I'm sure this has been made into a film at one time. Looking forward to reading it after I have finished my Terry Pratchett novel.

    Agatha Christie: The Murder On The Links

    Just finished, Agatha Christie's The Hollow. A Hercule Poirot thriller. This was a disappointment. Nothing happened except the empty chatter of the born rich for a third of the book, and Poirot didn't get into it untill half way through. No real detective work in this book.
