Hi everyone, I am another newbie........Looking for something great too read...... I like mystery, but I also would like to read something like Gone with the Wind. Maybe something like an epic saga. I also like thrillers........but I am not into anything too gory. My favorite authors are …….Mary Higgins Clark ( All her old ones, not the new.) John Saul, Robin Cook. Anyone have any ideas for me? Hi - I'm new here too.
Based on what you have said, you might like the Barbara Taylor Bradford series of books beginning with A Woman of Substance (the next one is To Hold The Dream). They are light reading, but fun.
For a bit more bite you could try These Is My Words by Nancy Turner, followed by Sarah's Quilt.
 
Arkansas. Isn't Arkansas the state where that Sam dude started his Wal Mart empire? I might be wrong on that one. :rolleyes:
