What are your plans for the Summer?

I finished all the quals for my Master's so I'll wait for that expensive piece of paper to arrive in the mail. Apart from that I'll read. I've read 10 books in the past few months. Sweet freedom!! :D

In the past few days, I have officially entered the summer period. I finished my finals and just FREEEE :D :D

I already started swimming, and started writing up the list of books I'm going to cover. I want to read a lot, about 40 to 50 books ! I hope I'll be able to. I'll write up the list once it's all planned. Guess it's going to be a book marathon for me ...

Currently teaching summer school at a state run correctional facility for juvenile girls. I have helped four to graduate and will have a fifth one done by the end of this next week. I will be taking the kids swimming as much as humanly possible when the temperature gets over 90(which will be frequent) and in late july, will be heading to Estes Park, Colorado for a good five day vacation. :D :D

Enjoying the warm weather, if we get any in London. Maybe doing some reading and writing. Having some friends over and maybe going to visit some friends in Yorkshire.

I was a later starter at school, so I only just finished my two-year degree from a community college this past month, and I'll be starting my junior year as an English major in August. In this time in between, I'm just working part-time in retail. Eventually, my boyfriend and I will be moving to a new town to hopefully rent a house so that we can get out of apartments. We don't know exactly where yet, but possibly close to my brother and his wife. All of our classes are online (we're both in an online BA program at a state university - he's majoring in History), so we can live anywhere we want! I kind of feel like we're just biding our time, waiting for life to begin again.

I don't have real summer plans; I'm hoping to visit my brother in Switzerland for 2 weeks and also meet up with a good friend who lives there and maybe spend a weekend with her. I have to do summer practice for University so for now i'll be home; reading is pretty much the main thing i do all day lately :p
