Whats the longest you have ever spent buying a book

I could spend all day in a bookstore. There have been times that my girlfriend has had to literally drag me out. I don't usually buy books brand new, though.. I shop on Amazon a lot, buying them used. My wishlist is currently 17 pages long. :)

there are some books that i really want, but don't even up buying for months and months because It's hard to make myself pay 20 bucks or so for a book. like there was this david hume book at barnes and nobles for 15 bucks, and i pretty much looked at it every time i went to barnes and nobles (like once every 2 weeks) , and never bought it for about 6-7 months. my gf ended up getting it for me for christmas, which was awesome because i dont know if i would have ever actually bought it even though I wanted it

Even if we go in with a list, there is no guarantee we'll find anything on said list. So, with an open mind we look over the tables, and shelves, pick out an armful, sit and have something to eat and decide that yes, we really do need to buy all the chosen books. /sigh/ :D

I don't know which of us is worse. Probably a draw. :innocent:

I can easily lose several hours in a book shop. Also, I have this thing where even if broke I have no problem spending a fair bit of money on books. Books are educational by their very nature, thus I am paying to broaden my horizons. Yes, I really do tell myself these things. And with complete confidence and not even the remotest sense of delusion.
