Any suggestions what's...
Ice Station is my favourite. Area 7 isn't that good and I havn't read Scarecrow yet. Try Tempel => it's quite good with a new hero although he is a bit reluctant (like: no I don't wanna save the world, I won't do that, ..., Ok let's save the world) :D
Don't bother with that. Sometimes it helps to ignore them a bit. Don't let them intimidate you!
About your questions: I'm really sorry but these questions are a bit too specific for me. The last time I read Ice Station was about two years ago and I don't remember that much of the details. :o
Don't bother with the Hover Car Racing Novel. It's really for kids. The characters are pretty young and story is kind of very predictable. :D
Although I liked the action sequences.
:D
By the way => Why don't we have some button like "Wrap [SPOILER] tags around selected text"?
It would make things a bit easier! I needed weeks to figure it out for myself. :o
It told you! :D
So how to do the Spoiler-thing:
write (SPOILER) at the beginning
and (/SPOILER) at the end but with square brackets => [] instead of the rounded ones.
If you would like to discuss it => make a new thread in the fiction folder. :D
So what about The Time Machine, Hamlet and The Lost World?
How can you choose the best book of an author when you havn't read all of them?
You think King Lear is Shakespeare's best book, but that may not be the popular opinion.
Just one book by H.G. Wells, Jasper Fforde, William Shakespeare or J.K. Rowling??? One by Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Jane Austen or Richard Mathewson?
You must be kidding! Most of the "bad" books of some authors are better than the best of others!
