    Book of the Month

I don't look at BOTM all that much, so correct me if I am wrong. Doesn't BOTM discussion threads contain a lot of spoilers???? I know when I have looked in on them they have lots of spoilers because people are all reading the same book at the same time and don't bother to use spoiler tags. If...

    Small Ads from the UK

I never assumed they were real. I think it's quite an assumtion to think people would think it's real. It's missing the point. It's funny. That's it. There isn't anything on the page that claims it to be true, is there? It's simply meant to be funny. The classified ADs being real or not is...

Adventure books (fantasy or not) in the vein of The Odyssey?

Salamander by Thomas Wharton. This is SUCH a treasure. It's an a rare gem of a book. I think it's pretty unknown becauase I don't hear it mentioned very much at all. The writing is some of the most lyrical and beautiful. Here is an example: It also had, in my opinion, THE single BEST...

    Greenday

Yes, I love this band. They DO rock  However, I have to say that I'm not too impressed with their newest album. I like some of the tracks, but they are never as good as their older stuff. There are some tracks that I am just bleh about and others that I hate so much I can't even bring...
