Just checked Amazon and it says it is not out in paperback until 3 January 2005 and it costs £9.09 so it is not exactly cheap in paperback either .... go for the hardback or ask Martin to buy it for you :D

I had the same dilemma Ell but I don't think the paperback is coming out for ages yet so I gave in and bought the hardback. Part of my reasoning for this was that the next book is out this week and are you going to be able to wait for that one to come out in paper back as well? I know I...

    Ask Me Anything ...

My question is how do they make chocolate chip cookies so that the chocolate chips don't melt when the biscuit is cooked? Whenever I cook them at home the chocolate chips end up as chocolate blobs.

Advice on Stephen Donaldson - Gap Series

My boyfriend has been recommended Stephen Donaldson's 'Gap' series but I am a bit dubious (the same person also recommended Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series which I have read lots of negative things about on this site) so I told him I would run it past the forum experts first. Has anyone...

I am having a bit of a nightmare friday - went out with work last night and drank way too much wine - finally staggered into work this morning an hour and a half late and very green around the gills. At least it is a bank holiday weekend :D
