I'm very satisfied with Gmail so far. It's very fast and refreshes automatically, so I can keep the window open and it's like having Outlook Express or Thunderbird in a browser. Very convenient.
Oh boy! I'm not a parent, so I can't speak from that experience, but I can speak from the experience of growing up with two parents who never, ever dared to censor my reading. I'm sure they knew I'd get around it somehow. As a kid I had a book with me everywhere. I took two hour baths every...
Wow, what a great name change. Society for the History of Indian Thingys is much more closely related to what we do, and I for one am proud to call myself a S.H.I.T. agent.
I'm honored to be a member of The Society, and I hope my performance is satisfactory to you and the rest of the agents.
I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your tail. At the next Super Ultra Rad Elite Ninja Agent Conference (SURENAC), I'll make sure to shake it for you at least once.
Personally I didn't like the way Virginia Woolf was portrayed. In reality, despite her psychological problems, she was very posh, very high class, and very sociable. She would hardly be caught wandering through the streets in a frumpy housedress and weird hat, mumbling to herself.

I haven't read much fantasy, although I've got some people queued up (Stephan Donaldson in particular), but I'll list the two favorites I have so far:
1) Robert Holdstock
2) Philip Pullman
Robert Holdstock wrote Mythago Wood and Lavondyss, the latter being an absolute masterpiece in my...
Eww, Raven. Just eww.
We do have Pizza Hut. In fact, I just ordered from them last night because I was having a low-key birthday celebration (wanna guess my age?). I do eat cheese, but melted cheese kind of freaks me out for reasons I cannot explain. I'm not that strict a vegetarian; I've...
I'm a recent college dropout (for the second time - I just can't figure out what I want to do). I've majored in English, History, Psychology and Sociology, and they all left me cold. I'm taking a year out to be an unemployed moocher while my husband works and I sit around reading and writing...
You're one crazy cat, Raven, but feel free to call me Agent Thea if you like. I won't object to that, or the fabulous crust offer (it's the best part of the whole pie).
It'd be impossible for me to pick just one, and I'm sure that after I wade through some other books in my giant pile by authors I've never read before (James Joyce, Haruki Murakami, Joseph Conrad, amongst others) I'll have an entirely new set of favorites, but for now these are it:
Charles...
Amazon is the only place I ever buy books from these days. I bought The Name of the Rose and The God of Small Things at Borders recently when I thought "I'd like to have the experience of actually buying something in a real bookstore again" but the romance died when I signed onto Amazon and...
Hey there everyone. I'm an American living in Leeds, England. I'm a member of too many forums I no longer visit, but oddly enough have never been a member of a book discussion forum, despite the fact that books are my favorite things.
I am currently reading three books:
Devil's Knot by...
